Bright, exciting, and inspiring selections of children’s films from around the world take over Row House Cinema for a week each summer during the Pittsburgh International Children’s Film Festival. The lineup includes nostalgic classics, award-winning shorts, documentaries, and family-friendly cultural events. Through the magic of cinema, the festival brings the wider world to the imagination of kids and kids at heart.

The festival will feature several Pittsburgh premiers, as well as the best short films from the 2019 New York International Children’s Film Festival. Complimentary special events, guest appearances, and hands-on activities are planned throughout the week.

The festival will be hosted at Row House Cinema in Lawrenceville (4115 Butler St., Pittsburgh PA 15221) , which will play movies at a lower volume to protect young ears and provide kid friendly snacks at select screenings. In the spirit of the festival, children are welcome to move around the theater, chat, and just be kids.

Venue:
Row House Cinema is single-screen movie theater in the heart of Lawrenceville at Butler and Main. The theater hosts film festivals, special events, and a new theme of movies each week from all genres and eras.

Parking:
Metered public parking is located all along Bulter Street, and a public lot is located at the corner of 42nd and Butler, only a block away from the theater.

Concessions:
Row House Cinema’s snack bar sells all-natural popcorn with real butter as well as other concessions produce by local businesses. Kid snack pack will be sold during the course of the festival and include popcorn and a juicebox. Coffee will be sold during morning showings.

There is also a large selection of craft sodas and craft beers available for sale next door at the Bierport that can be brought into the theater.

Family Passes:
In addition to single tickets, family passes are available during the festival and include 2,3, or 4 theater tickets to a selected showtime as well as a large popcorn and kids drinks.

3 – ticket family pass – $35
4 – ticket family pass – $45
