Being a mom is a tough job. No matter what “kind” of mom you are (SAHM, WM, WAHM, SM, MM, etc.), we all love our children but we need a break sometimes. Although most moms would love a quiet bath and extra sleep, it is nice to do something that shows how much you care. Still not sure what to do for Mom? Thanks to the Lawrenceville Corporation you don’t have to worry. Bring MOM to Lawrenceville for a fun filled weekend.
From May 6th through 8th, families of all ages are invited to shop, eat, peruse and simply absorb all that Lawrenceville has to offer, as well as take advantage of many different specials available at local businesses from 34th Street to 54th Street, all in honor of mom.
This pampering process is presented by the Lawrenceville Corporation, which has launched a brand new website this year and crafted a dedicated page for Mother’s Day at lvpgh.com/mom. Fifty-one businesses are highlighted there, each with their own personal take on how to celebrate mom on her special day.
Perhaps treat mom to a tour at the Clemente Museum, which offers free entry to moms and a complimentary flight of wine, or gather around a table of delish dishes at spots like Dive Bar & Grille or Senti. Needless to say, the street eventually ends but for Mother’s Day celebrating the options are endless in the Lawrenceville neighborhood. Steel City Mom is proud to team up with Lawrenceville to giveaway 2 prize packs (3 prizes each) with great local items that MOM will be sure to love. This giveaway will run from Sunday May 1st – 4th at midnight.
